The Hinch Distillery is on the main road leading from Belfast to Newcastle (Mountains of Mourne), approximately 20 – 30 minutes from Belfast’s City Centre (depending on traffic). Click here for directions.

We highly recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment. We have a limited number of spaces on each tour and often sell out in advance.
You can arrive at the Distillery without a booking for either a tour or the Brasserie however we cannot guarantee availability particularly at peak times. We will do our very best to get you on the next available tour or a table within the Brasserie but we would advise booking in advance.
If travelling from Belfast City you can get an Ulster Bus from Adelaide Street, number 520, journey time approximately 30 minutes – there is a bus stop on the main road opposite the Distillery.
Yes, there is a fairly spacious car park including spaces specifically for coaches. Car parking spaces are on a first come first served basis and unfortunately cannot be pre-booked.
The Whiskey tour lasts approximately 60 minutes including the tasting & the Gin School Experience tour approximately 90 minutes including the tasting.
Yes- all of our tours are fully-guided by one of our Hinch Distillery Guides.
No problem but please let us know as soon as possible so we can resell the tickets as we have a limited number of spaces on each tour. To reschedule please contact our reservations team on on +44 2892 791180 or reception@hinchdistillery.com. Please note that unfortunately we cannot offer refunds unless under exceptional circumstances.
If you arrive up to 10 min after your tour-time we will try our very best to have you catch up with the tour. If you arrive after this time unfortunately you will not be able to join you scheduled tour. However, we will do our very best to get you on the next available tour. We recommend that you arrive 10 mins prior to you scheduled tour time.
Children are welcome to accompany you on the tour. Children under 18 year olds are offered a concession price of £10 each and we offer them a soft drink whilst you enjoy your Hinch Whiskey tasting.
We offer a range of soft drinks to any adult non-Whiskey drinkers as an alternative during the Whiskey tasting.
Yes, we offer Whiskey tastings at the Hinch Brasserie & Bar every day which includes the choice of either a flight of two or four from our whiskey range – please enquire either at Reception or the Hinch Brasserie.
If you are new to Whiskey we would highly recommend the Hinch Classic Tasting flight which includes our Small Batch & 5 Yr Old Whiskeys. If you would like to try a few different styles of Hinch Whiskey we would recommend the Hinch Premium Tasting flight which includes the Small Batch, 5 Yr Old and 2 more limited edition whiskies from our range.
Please bring either a physical or digital copy of your booking confirmation. If you have forgotten, then provide your name and email address that the booking was placed under at Reception and we can locate it within our system.

Due to NI government restrictions/recommendations for social distancing we are currently reducing the maximum numbers per tour to 10. The maximum number of people we can take on a tour under normal circumstances is 16 for the safety and comfort of our guests. If your group is in excess of 16 we will divide the group into smaller groups with a 30 min gap between each group. All groups should be booked in advance to avoid disappointment. You can upgrade to one of our other tour & tastings at reception for an additional cost.
Yes, we have our fabulous Hinch Brasserie on site which is open 7 days per week and available for all tour visitors from early morning through to late evening. Booking is highly recommended for either inside the Brasserie or a table in our very spacious outside Courtyard, particularly during peak days or times.
Yes. We have lifts in the building which gives access to all stages of each tour.
